How the process works

Each stage helps us plan your care safely.

Explore each step of the pathway.

  1. An initial medical consultation to understand your situation, answer your questions and agree the next steps with you.

  2. A psychiatric and physical health assessment covering your medical history, previous treatments, medication and goals. Additional tests may be needed.

  3. A shared decision on the treatment option that best suits your situation — or that treatment is not indicated.

  4. The intervention takes place under medical and nursing supervision and may include psychological support and other options, according to the individual plan.

  5. Review of clinical response, side effects and whether the plan should be adjusted or ended.
